Kulbert® Cutting Wires
Kulbert® hot cutting wire; EPS (expanded polystrene foam) and XPS (extruded polystrene foam) are cutting wires used in foam cutting. All of Kulbert® hot cutting wires are specially designed for EPS (expanded polystrene foam) and XPS (extruded polystrene foam) foam cutting.
Kulbert® Cutting Wire Types

Right choice, right solution ...
When choosing wire to make EPS (expanded polystrene foam) and XPS (extruded polystrene foam) foam cutting, the right thickness wire should be selected according to the type of material, machine specifications and cutting.
After selecting the correct thickness Kulbert® hot cutting wire for EPS (expanded polystrene foam) and XPS (extruded polystrene foam) foam cut, the wire to be cut and the material to be cut should be preferred to obtain the desired yield from this wire. Otherwise, the efficiency of the machine and wire will decrease.
In order to obtain the desired cutting efficiency in EPS (expanded polystrene foam) and XPS (extruded polystrene foam) foam section, a quality machine should be preferred. The quality of the transformers and other evenings on the machine is very important in order to get the desired result in the foam section.
Kulbert® Cutting Wires Features
Kulbert® hot cutting wire EPS (expanded polystrene foam) and XPS (extruded polystrene foam) allows the cutting of material at desired speed and quality when cutting the foam.
One of the biggest advantages of hot cutting wire is that Kulbert® hot cutting wire has a longer service life compared to other wires while it is used for EPS (expanded polystrene foam) and XPS (extruded polystrene foam) foam cutting. This allows production increase as cutting amount.
Kulbert® Cutting Strips also provide the clean surface of EPS (expanded polystrene foam) and XPS (extruded polystrene foam) foam material.
While EPS (expanded polystrene foam) and XPS (extruded polystrene foam) foam are used in the production of damp, carbon-reinforced or scrap-produced, thicker Kulbert® hot cutting wires are preferable so that the wire can last longer using a more resistant wire.
Kulbert® hot cutting wires EPS (expanded polystrene foam) and XPS (extruded polystrene foam) can be used for manual cutting tools, cnc cutting lines and block cutting machines designed for foam cutting. When cutting EPS (expanded polystrene foam) and XPS (extruded polystrene foam) foam on CNC cutting machines, thinner wires such as 0,30 mm / 0,35 mm or 0,40 mm are used.
Usually, 0.50 mm thick Kulbert® hot cutting wires are used for cutting or refinishing EPS (expanded polystrene foam) and XPS (extruded polystrene foam) foam blocks.
